Welcome to KikiParts. In these Terms of Service, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to KikiParts. KikiParts operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"), to provide you with a curated automotive parts shopping experience. KikiParts is powered by Shopify.


These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when using the Services. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights, warranty disclaimers, returns, and limitations of liability.


By visiting, browsing or purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our Services.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring any minor dependents using the Services on your devices do so with your consent and supervision.


To use our Services, including browsing or purchasing, you may be required to provide information such as your name, email address, billing and shipping details, and payment information. You warrant that all information provided is accurate, current and complete.


You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and are not permitted to transfer or assign your account to any other person.


Section 2 — Our Products

We make every reasonable effort to accurately represent our products, including descriptions, images, fitment information, and specifications. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device screen settings.


All automotive parts listed on our store are sold as aftermarket replacement or accessory parts. Unless explicitly stated in a product listing, KikiParts does not claim OEM (original equipment manufacturer) status for any product. Customers are responsible for confirming compatibility with their specific vehicle before purchasing.


Product descriptions, availability and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit purchase quantities at our sole discretion.


Section 3 — Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. KikiParts reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its sole discretion. Your order is not accepted until we confirm it and successfully process payment.


Please review your order carefully before submitting. Once an order is accepted, KikiParts may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests. In the event we cannot accept or need to modify an order, we will notify you via the contact details provided at checkout.


Returns and exchanges are governed solely by our Refund Policy [LINK], which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.


You warrant that purchases are for your personal, household, or legitimate business use and not for unauthorised commercial resale or export.


Section 4 — Pricing and Billing

All prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated. For customers in Australia, the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom, prices may be displayed in your local currency at checkout. Currency conversions are indicative only and final charges will reflect the applicable exchange rate at the time of transaction.


Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price confirmed at the time of order placement, as shown in your order confirmation email.


Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, shipping, handling, customs, or import charges. Any such charges applicable to your jurisdiction will be disclosed at checkout prior to payment.


For customers in Australia, prices may include GST where required under Australian consumer law. For customers in the UK, prices may include VAT where applicable. For US and Canadian customers, applicable state, provincial or federal taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete billing and payment information. By submitting a payment, you confirm: (i) the payment information is true and complete; (ii) you are authorised to use the payment method; (iii) charges will be honoured by your financial institution; and (iv) you will pay all amounts due, including shipping, taxes and any applicable duties.


Section 5 — Shipping and Delivery

We ship to New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Shipping rates and estimated delivery timeframes are displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation.


All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. KikiParts is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our control.


Risk of loss and title for purchased goods pass to you upon transfer of the goods to the shipping carrier. For international orders, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by their country.


For customers in the United Kingdom and Australia, we comply with applicable consumer protection legislation regarding delivery obligations. If you experience a significant delay or non-delivery, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.


Section 6 — Consumer Rights and Statutory Guarantees

New Zealand Customers

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If a product fails to meet a guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These statutory rights apply in addition to our Refund Policy.


Australian Customers

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


United Kingdom Customers

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. UK customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving goods (the cooling-off period) without giving a reason. Items must be returned in their original condition. This right does not apply to goods that have been used, damaged, or are not suitable for return due to health or safety reasons.


United States Customers

Customers in the United States are protected by applicable federal and state consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights that cannot be waived under applicable law in your state of residence.


Canadian Customers

Canadian customers are protected by applicable federal and provincial consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory consumer rights applicable in your province or territory of residence.


Section 7 — Refund and Returns Policy

KikiParts offers a fair and transparent returns process. Our full Refund Policy is available at [LINK] and is incorporated into these Terms. Key terms include:


  • Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Faulty or incorrectly described items are eligible for a full refund, replacement, or repair at no cost to the customer.
  • Items damaged due to improper installation or misuse are not eligible for return.
  • Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly described.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.


These terms do not limit your statutory rights. Where applicable law provides greater protections than those listed above, those protections apply.


Section 8 — Intellectual Property

All content on the KikiParts website, including trademarks, logos, product imagery, text, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to KikiParts and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.


You may use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from our Services without our prior written consent.


Product names, brand names, and OEM part numbers referenced in product listings are used for compatibility and identification purposes only. KikiParts does not claim affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from any vehicle manufacturer or OEM brand unless explicitly stated.


Section 9 — Relationship with Shopify

KikiParts is powered by Shopify. All sales and purchases are made directly with KikiParts. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase from KikiParts, including any loss or damage arising from purchased products. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims relating to your transactions with KikiParts.


Section 10 — Privacy Policy

All personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy [LINK]. We are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), the Privacy Act 1988 (AU), the UK GDPR, and applicable US and Canadian privacy laws.

Promotional prices apply only during the specified promotional period and to eligible products. Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.


We comply with Google’s advertising policies, including requirements around accurate product representation, pricing transparency, destination URL quality, and prohibited content. Our advertising does not make claims that are false, misleading, or unsubstantiated.


Section 12 — Feedback and Reviews

By submitting feedback, reviews, or other content to our store, you grant KikiParts a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display that content for the purposes of operating and improving our Services.


You warrant that your feedback: (i) is your own original content; (ii) is accurate and not misleading; (iii) does not infringe any third-party rights; and (iv) complies with these Terms. In jurisdictions where limitation of liability clauses are restricted or unenforceable, this clause applies only to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of that jurisdiction.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand. For customers in other jurisdictions, mandatory local consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply and are not overridden by this clause.


In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance to seek an informal resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to the appropriate dispute resolution body in your jurisdiction, including:

  • Australia: ACCC or your state fair trading office
  • United Kingdom: Trading Standards or the relevant ADR scheme
  • United States: Your state Attorney General’s consumer protection office
